SORPTION CHARACTERISTICS OF EXTRUDED FEED FOR CARP STOCKING MATERIAL
M. Dushkova, A. Simitchiev, N. Toshkov
Abstract: Equilibrium sorption isotherms of extruded feed for carp stocking material in three variants were experimentally obtained. The study was conducted by the static gravimetric method at 20°C and water activities from 0.11 to 0.85. It was established that the isotherms have a typical S-shaped profile and there are no statistically significant differences in the sorption capacity for all variants. A suitable model was selected to describe the sorption isotherms. The monolayer moisture content of the extrudates was determined.
