E. H. Shahvaladi, F. Gholami-Borujeni, F. Nejatzadeh-Barandozi
Abstract: Dracocephalum (Dracocephalum moldavica L.) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family, with high essential oil content, and traditionally used as a cardiotonic agent in the folk medicine. This study was conducted in 2010 and 2011 at Iran County, aiming to determine the effects of doses of nitrogen (0, 100, 150, and 160 kg ha−1) and microelements such as Fe, Zn and Mn (0, 50, 50 and 50 kg ha–1) on yield and essential oil content. A completely randomized block design with four replications was adopted. Increased doses of NH4 NO3 and microelements resulted in higher yield and essential oil content.
